Oncidium Twinkle 'Fragrant Fantasy'We are absolutely smitten by miniature orchids! They're in spike too! This is a hybrid of Oncidium cheirophorum (pod parent) and Oncidium ornithorhynchum (pollen parent). It originated in Hawai'i in 1958. Their bloom color is white and is said to smell like vanilla! Care: Orchids such as the Oncidium will like a bright indirect light (they will not flower in lower light conditions). They will also like warmer spring and summer conditions to encourage

either rest them in a dish of water or submerge them in a bucket for roughly 10-15 minutes until the moss feels hydrated and spongey and letting drip off any excess water

As they mature their leaves will grow into more of a round shape that really stand out due to the lush light green color of the leaves

The foliage can start to feel somewhat soft and flexible as a good indicator when they are thirsty

through ingestion

it can produce fuzzy red flowers that have a very sweet fragrance

Their flowers smell like frosting

This can be roughly 10-14 days depending on how much light it is getting as well as your general home environment
