オランダ人グラフィックデザイナー、イルマ・ボーム（Irma Boom）の作品集。80箇所に及ぶユネスコ自然保護地区をリサーチした本書は、「自然を色で表現する」というコンセプトのもと、世界各地、各大陸のユネスコ世界遺産を「色」で紹介しています。特別な色で印刷された各ページには、色見本のアイデアを利用した短冊状のミシン目が入っています。このミシン目を開くと、それぞれの自然保護地区を再現した抽象的な色彩図が現れ、自然の中に存在する「色」についての調査と、それらをカラーダイアグラムで表現したデザインを見ることができます。
