They were so popular throughout the 19th century, and then again in the nostalgic fashions of the 1990s. Each jewel is true antique or vintage & the velvet ribbon chokers were assembled by me. This one features a large Victorian carved bone rose on a rich, burgundy red velvet ribbon. Measures about 10. 5
